On all maps where there's a ShockRifle, or a sniper rifle, use only those weapons.  If you're using the sniper rifle, dont use the zoom.  Instead use it like you would an ESR.

This means you have more chances to practice shooting.  It makes it twice as tough to kill anything, and sometimes 4 times as hard if they have 199 life meter, and 150+energy shield for armor.  At max, you need to hit them 4 times.  When you can get more kills using this set up, your aiming with the ESR automatically gets better.

I prefer using the Shockrifle as practice.  Because when you hit them once, it sends them flying.  This helps you to guess where they are flying to and shoot them the second time.  This also helps your aim.  Especially, when dealing with players who doubletaps a lot.  

Now with the sniper rifle.  I only try to aim at the head to get head shots.  This also makes your target smaller since you're only going for the head.  I do hit their body also, but i'm really try to get the head shot.  The more you can pull this off, the better your aim.  When you start using the ESR again, you'll realize your aim has improved as well.  

Now, for speed aiming.  I guess I call it speed aiming, because you have very little time to aim accurately.  In most real situations you wont have too much time to take to aim at your target.  Once you get your aim preciison better it's time to speed up the time it takes for you to lock on.  Set up a team practice match, and put all bots on 1 team.  Set them to the appropriate difficult level, not too hard, not too easy for you.  This is different for everyone.  Put 7 bots on, then put yourself on the other team.  Next go out on the dance floor and let the bots know you're there.  All of them will come after you.  Your job is to survive and take out as much bots as possible in one round before dying.  The more you can take out the better.   Practice this with the ESR.  Practice this on 4 maps a night, and your speed will improve dramatically.  Your reflexes and double tap and teleporting (whatever it takes to survive longer) will improve as well.  You also will train yourself to be much harder to hit without being sneaky and hiding.  4 of these a night, plus about 4 matches using only shockrifle or snipergun a night, and your aiming precision and speed will improve after each week.

While you're at it, practice your double taps in all directions.  Forward to flip, backwards, and side to side.  the double tap back is a great skill to have.  Not only does it help you dodge deemers, and esrs, it will make it easier for you to lock your cross-hair at your taget, especially when they are double-tapping forward and side to side.  It is also used to quickly put soem distance between you and your target when you need to.  

I find it very useful when I'm going at it with a target in front of me and some bastard try to get a frag on me from behind.  Judging from where they are firing from and the sound, you can guess where they are.  I double-tap backwards as they are running toward me from behind, while still trying to get a frag of the person in front of me.  This move always surprise the person behind me, because 1 double tap back later I zip past them and now he's in front of me, and with any luck, he's directly in front of my esr and I pick up an easy frag.  You will have to improve your aiming a bit(see above tips) and also be quick on your aim (see above tips), and if fate is on your side you can pick up a double-kill easily.  Killing off the one in front, and the one who was behind you at the same time.  It's also useful to stay alive longer and can save your frag.  Double tap back will now put the guy behind you right between you and the guy in front, so he's now in the middle.  A good number of time, he will take the hit being your shield, and saving your ass.  And if you're quick enough, it buys you just enough time to frag the person in front.  This is WHY you should also master the double-tap backwards.

These tips will help your aim improve, and but it really benefits your DeathMatch games.  Not necessary for 1v1s, but when there's a lot of players playing.  Especially with the double-tap backwards and survival a onslaught in a room full of players trying to pick up a frag from all directions.  It will also help your frag numbers for team DM.

To add to the part about using the shock rifle  :) , whe n people fly off off your beam when you hit the first time hitting them the second time will help you a great amount in CTF as well with boosting, i noticed that last night when i had 150 199 and kama sent me flying to kill me lol

tonight ... i played 10 maps with either sniper rifle and shockrifle... no esr.  and the last 2 were unavoidable... those dome maps with only esr.  :(

I'm tired as heck... so i think i'm gonna let myself rest and heal to sunday... I'll join the practice on sunday... but to participate... not gonna play hard... i need my arms to rest and heal and let my practice sink in for sunday's match.  :)

LoL bonghits was schoolin us both  :)  that guy isnt in a clan and never has been, hes the original guy to alias as CHAIR, also plays as necromancer and tropical hotdog  :p  ive known him a hella long time

the last 2 he schooled everyone...

but i played him before... he hasnt schooled me like that before.  lol, but he always seem to target me a lot!

but over-all i had a great night.  1 actually won 2 complete games using just shockrifle.  :D i think i played like 3 hrs straight... i was so starve in the end... cus i didnt even have dinner yet.  almsot forgot i was hungry.  lol
