So w loaded STEAM up and found Unreal Tournament: Game of the Year edition staring at me, so I decided, WTH, load it up, pop in the SiN server address, and man, the rest is like watching paint dry.  After 15 minutes, I'm still "receiving" files from the server.  This is just ONE map (DM~SiN~Dojo).

Where do go to get all the maps and files pre-loaded?

i deleted my own files and re-down loaded from server... came down lightning fast for me.... don't know what to tell you. i know some of the older Umx and Utx files are large.. maybe the redirect was down for maintanence or something... ?

i contacted the provider... they tell me everything is fine on there end.
it is a fast DL but not as fast as other servers, due to the fact they are raw files. i was up till 4:30 in the morning converting everything to .uz files... have textures, music and maps done... when i get the system files done, i will convert it over. for faster Dl.

uz files are just compressed ut files... you cant open them only UT can.
you could de-compress them, but you dont need to.

Server's been working fine for me.

I noticed some new (well, maybe new) GMC esr server yesterday.  I'll have to post the IP later.  Dudes in there weren't all that friendly, LMAO.
