Oky Doky. we have a new Chicago server
now comes the pain in the ass of configuring it.
i will be running MapVoteLA13 same as last time.
however this will not be a totally DM ESR server, as in the past.
all of us who are still around have kinda had our horizons adjusted a bit.
I for example had taken a liking to Zark.
So 1 colum for ESR, 1 for Zark and 2 for what ever ??
i need some input
do you the people want .... CTF, mods, weapons, etc etc. in the other colums.
i will NOT do a stealth. i get stuck playing that mod on UTR server and i Hate it!!!
don't get me wrong i play it.. but when voted for you can hear me saying OHH MAN, and 9 times out of 10 it's the D1ck pounders who camp out the spawn points
so since i basiclly have to upload the maps and change all the names as per style or mod to use.
i would like to know now.
this is going to suck the load out of my bandwith this month for home.... lol

don't know binslayer... i got some maps up tonight.
average ping for me was 47ms
i played a full round of maps to make sure they are running

i have been looking around for mods.
anyone know of an anti suiside mod, i have found 1 that allows you to and you loose 2 frags... thats not what i want

just a note. there is no redirect set up yet for fast DL.
something about a syncro problem with UT as it is so old?
they are working on a fix.
the auto sync is not working. (had same prob with last provider... but they set up the off site redirect for me). they gave me another web hosting domain. however i don't have a clue about this stuff, working on it. i have to build a web page... and folders DOH!
so if you dont have the maps already installed, it may take you a while to get into the server
i am only going to put clan maps in rotation for now. you should already have them. if not there is something wrong... lol
OH how i am starting to remember the pains of setting up a new shop...

Yup. I was dling SiN-Church, but not to much for it,,need to back to work, Slatts Textures was so big, downloads to slow,,i gonna dl all stuff when i back to home.-

i figured you would.
can you dig up the old files you installed last time around?
you also had some smart ctf script running if memory is correct.

ok i have a redirect working. uploading to it as i type.
note this is a temp URL till the main one is on line, they said about 48 hours for the new web domain kicks in.

Ok redirect works,,but the server is stuck on iwalder vision map,, cant dl those old maps .-

the redirect is working, but i haven't got all the files up yet.
have maps and most textures so far. have to do all music next. should be done by 6.PM eastern time.
if you want to manually DL any files.... < Sinnerz Redirect >

please note the server will be down for a couple of days.
XFactors was just bought out by Fragnet.
machines in chicago (ours) are being re-located in a new building.

ok new update. it would seem we have our server back. but dont go looking for it. the migration has gone off without a hitch. for them that is.
it has a new IP and is a virgin server running stock maps. it would apear that all the work i have put into it so far has gone out the fucking window.
thank you Fragnet. and it is a long weekend, no one is working on that great 24/7 service they brag about.
i have no access to the unrealtournament.ini file. meaning i cant add anything to the server, nor can i get web admin to work.
thank god i did not go with fragnet, i just loved the user feed backs i read. so as my blood boils i sit here and wonder if they are going to fix it? or do i ask for a total refund and go sign up with what was to be my second pick for a rental.
they did send out a mass email to people saying they are giving everyone a $10.00 credit.. BFD! i have over 40 hours vested in the server, uploads, trouble shooting, web space for redirect... i think my time is worth $25.00 an hour.

ok bugs are worked out... i am currently re-loading maps.
new IP is 96.8.119.197:7777
i will fix the scrolling marque at the top of the forum later...
should be ready for use in a couple of days..
