I was surfing the net today. I found that IDF Clan site is gone. How ironic is it that ~SiN~ has out lasted IDF? It looks like another one bites the dust.
Good question. I heard * some * of the story of ~SiN~ and how the clan was started etc. But never got the info on how old we are... Guessing atleast 6 - 7 years old? Slatts? Wilder?

The link I have is gone and site says space for rent.
As for SiN... Dusk left 2339 to help launch the DbD clan. It didn't work out for him. So he started SiN. Strangely I was the first member to join.
And the others followed. Once again the power hungry reared their heads... and it started all over.
Everyone left again and went diff directions... Some went to build up HoG that was only about 3 months old at the time. Others went to Floc... Wilder and I were offered to go... but for some reason we never took our tags off... peps would see us and say SiN ? I thought that clan was dead... lol two of us still walking...

I think we outlived GMC altogether~
Ah memory lane. I think one of the reason we survive so long cus we insist on the model of no 1-leader. No 1-owner. All of us are co-leaders in 1 form or another, all of us are co-owners in 1 form or another. Hence every has equal share of the clan relative to their contributions. Everyone has a minimal level of ownership regardless.
The rest is more out of a matter of respect for senior members. No one is require to take orders from anyone. We listen to members and follow *ADVICE* and training of more senior members out of respect, and willingness to learn their style and technique.
Slatts and I, and other more senior members of the now, we never really consider anyone leaders. I would listen to slatts ideas equally as I would Byte, Raven, Bane, Twisty, Guns, and so on and so on.
We're also more than welcome any members to expand SiN into other areas, and they get full credibility to those areas, or become somewhat, "sub-leaders" of those sub-divisions. Kinda like ~SyN~ for capture the flag, and stuff.
We're keeping the servers running just for our members and guess so we can come in for a friendly game or two anytime we want. both the 1v1 and 10-man servers are up. And as long as I can help it, they will continue to stay up. even if no one plays, atleast for several more years.
Hopefully some old members gone missing will stop by and say hi to us. We love to hear from any old alumnis!
