I got one!

man o man... it's sweet as far as a wireless gaming mouse is concern.  i didnt think anything was better than the mx1000 as far as being smooth and accurate.

it's buit perfect tho.  They took away buttons!  I'm used to the buttons from the mx100.  Depending on how you see it there's atleast 2 buttons less!  And if you dont count the 2 sensitivity buttons you're short 4 buttons compared to the mx1000!  That's almost handicapped man!

You COULD re-program via setpoint the 2 sensitivity buttons to be assigned as buttons, BUT why?  they ROCK!  Being able to adjust how sensitive the mouse is on the fly ingame rather than through control panels is a definite advantage!  you can switch to "normal" sensitivity to "sniper" mode sensitivity with a click of 2 of these buttons!

I perfect would be putt the missing 2 thumb buttons back so it's 3 total there at the thumb, and keeping the 2 sensitivity button, then adding back the 2 buttons near the scroll wheel.

Another thing missing from it's G5 brother is the feature of making the mouse heavier or lighter via weights.

One thing I like is it comes with 2 rechargeable batteries and u charge 1 battery while using the other.  This idea works much better than the charge cradle.  So you dont have much of a intteruption when your battery is low, you just switch batter between a map, and voila! all night gaming!

4.5 stars!  woulda/coulda been perfect!

My brother actually got this mouse after I got my Logitech MX 518.  :D  He loves it, claims he will never ever go back to any other mouse out there.... I tried it, I have not a single bad thing to say about it. And it also works extremely good on a gaming mouse pad like ratpadz.  ( sorry for replying so late ) lol

I'm been using the G7 for a while now, and boy o boy... it rocks!

For UT99/2k4, you dont really need the missing buttons, and o boy... i'll never need to go wired again!  I know i said this for the MX1000 but man... it's that much better!

now for games like F.E.A.R, where you need a lot of button bindings, i wish they consider making the next Generation of gaming mpuse like the MX1000's buttons + 2 more (for +/- sensitivity) with the same traction and DPI of the G7 or better!  Then it would be a mouse fit for any game.

They way it is now, I feel like it's missing 4 buttons that I gotten used for other games.
