i have started to change some of those old maps with huge ass files.
and seeing how i have them open, i have fixed some things that have bothered me over the years.
church, and slatts's addiction have had thier music changed (smaller files). i have taken out music with foul language in it.
(i think i will let my kid play UT again, i installed it on his computer so i could check the redirect the other day... needed a virgin machine... lol. i have all UT files on my gamer, needed to know what worked and didn't).
stray won't notice as he doesn't use music...
anyhow... tommy tickles asked for a map the other day. (still waiting for his list)
if you want maps up... post it! in new thread in server info section please....
i won't remember if you just tell me...... !

I have several of mine that could be added, also some kewl SCA maps.

back in the day, the serious players turn off music just to squeeze more performance and frames out of UT.
I remember turning off whatever I can just to squeeze more speed out of the game. Turn off music, decals, dynamic lighting, etc.

yep and that was also running a 1 to 1.5 Ghz CPU, with a gig of ram...
the music keeps me pumped.

happy b-lated birthday! Missed that part the first round when i sped read everything.
I play music too, just not from UT... i music from my stereo while playing UT, you get better performance that way, and you get to hear the music you want.
