well... I'm not renewing my contract with the current provider for sinnerz.org. They suck. I think we all felt the pain through the year. After googling and reading review, I've chosen ixwebhosting.com to be our new host. They are much cheaper, gives us much more bandwidth so we dont need to be cheap and stingy, and a LOT more storage space!
We currently have 1GB here. Where we're going to move, we'll have 100GB to store all our maps, files, etc.
for now I ask all members not to put any new files on the server. I am currently backing up files from pub, map, and members.sinnerz.org now. Final backup will be the forum. then I will move things to the new host once it's up and ready.
It should also be a LOT faster too.

pub.sinnerz.org
are backed up as of this point. I will not be making anymore backups. I have not confirm and validate ANY files backed up. So if there something absolutely you need to save there, please go download them to your workstation before the move.
I'm backing up the forum code and files now. Then I will backup the database (that has all the topics and stuff), and import it to the forum on the new server once it's up and running.
Once it's all files are moved to ixwebhosting.com, I will move sinnerz.org name over there too. As far as changes for you guys. None. Unless we are switching forum types. But you will access the forum the same way you do now. Since sinnerz.org cannot be hosted on 2 servers at time. There might be a time where we will use a temporary hostname to access the new server, and old server. I'll post those temporary hostnames later.

Most of the cosmetic issues are fixed. If you're not using the SiN Skin as the default, goto your control panel, and select the skin as your default skin to see the cosmetic fixes.
