I have some new maps up and running.
i got blood bath to run as well.
still having a problem with the dock, i know what it is ... is need to get it done.
Fear was in the other day when i was testing and asked me to UP load master bed... if anyone else wants maps up please post it in this thread only. and i will get them up.
but please check what is on the server first before posting ...

Byte.. i DL the files but something is missing?
are you able to run them on your system?
or did you just pull the name out of a hat.
i can't get them to run....:angry:
no UTX file or a texture is missing.
will look further into it.....
or give me a server running and i can DL
then up it to our server after i rip the map in ED 2.0

i'll keep looking, all my stuff is archived on cd or dvd and i'll
probally have to use cache converter to get them out of
the back up s... it's been crazy here in s.FL, just went
through hurricane and fared pretty well though i'm getting
damn tired of the storms, it's a high price to pay in order to
live in paradice.

just got off of our server bro. love the new backyard map.
one thing though, man... 10 MB music file! YIKES! lol
and need another ESR placement... in the corner hay bail cubby hole.

10 megs?? shouldn't be 10. i must have edited the wrong file and jammed it into the map.
will look at it when i get home. was the redirect working?
wonder how many peps DL it.. i cant delete it now.

yeah bro, i don't think the re direct is working..
took me forever to download the .UMX file.
btw; i will be updating the master bath i grey scaled.
adding what you suggested etc. and will be working on
a few others as soon as possible. hop on MSN over the
weekend and we'll discuss it bro. ;)

it should be working... just the bloody size of the file... my goof.
i will fix it and reload this weekend. thats why i posted about redoing all the music files... i had about 6 six files for that song i was editing... the size was good but sounded rotten.
adjusted and saved differant times and the names were pretty much all the same. i think i grabbed the 10 meg file instead of the 4.5 meg file for the final edit. sometimes it is tuff to keep track of what you did and are planning to do over the course of a couple of day... worse when you have days in between.
i think i grabbed the 8 bit mono @ 32,000 Htz, instead of the 8 bit mono @ 24,000 Htz. sometimes you don't see things when all the files are on your computer.. no DLing... you just have them.
as for the bath... keep the nightmare name in it... once we have enought of them i will set a section up in the map vote for them only... just like i kept Dramon name for the map... was his work.. i just edited it.

still took a while just to DL the map though too. not only the .UMX file.
gonna delete and test it.
k, deleted the map and re downloaded it. it took 2 minutes to download so i gather the redirect is down? went all the way to 100%.

cool cool. when i went to that link ya told me to the map downloaded lightening fast. so all is good now.
i am finishing that map now, almost done. DM-~SiN~Nightmare-MasterBathroom.
i added the water and the other thingy ya suggested. ;)
gonna add the .umx file and send to you tonight. so i can move on to the next map!

this is the theme i am going for.do you have a file share program for downloading MP3's??
if so just search for "Black" or "Grey" see what pops up.
i did a black search and found thousands of songs... doesn't mean i will use them but i have DL some of them and listened to them. some are find of fun.
or get ahould of that Wilder guy... see if he still has his Spooky music... maybe you will like one of them?
it was Wilder's vission of grey scale... Hence the first beta files were called WilderVission instead of Nitemare...

i have the file in mp3 , but i know how covert in umx, the problem is the qaulity of files, cant set good quality and low file. anyway for now i have map with Firestarter of prodigy...

what programs are you using for conversion?
and what size is the UMX you have?

mp3 to wav=> musicmatch (it suck btw), then sound recorder.
wav to it= >modplug then ued. file size is 8 - 9 mb, i can set with low size but quality ged baD

yep file is to big... you want them around 5 megs or under.

thats is map look, i have low umx file, that nite i make like 6 umx files, i have "ashes to ashes" from Faith No More - 6mb and " golden boy" from Primus-5 mb, but this song is to fast will be cool in other kind of map

I will see what I can find on those maps that byte wants, I have access to my HD and I know I have those on it.. I will see what I can do about uploading those now.

if you have zips that would be better.
if not you have to rip them apart in ED to see what files it calls for. if you dont know how to do hop on MSN and i will walk you trough it.

ut3 is ok cept there aren't any folks playing.
the server count for DM went from 310 to 215
or something like that. it's pretty boreing
sniping bots all the time. I'll have to relearn ut99
and smoke ya.
