For those who like to use members.sinnerz.org space to host your clan related info, (pictures, etc) you may use the clan ftp site.  Before you go crazy, please note the entire site (sinnerz.org) has 250 MB of space.  So refrain from putting large files.  As of today February 10th, 2003, there is currently about 150 MB free.

To post on members.sinnerz.org you will need to ftp your files there.  < ftp://ftp.ipswitch.com/pub/win32/WS_FTPLE.exe >  is an excellent free ftp client software for Windows.  The tutorial below will show you an example on ftping your files over.

You want to use this ftp site: ftp.sinnerz.org
You want to use this login name: members@sinnerz.org
You want to use this password: sin4life

*Please DO NOT give out this password.  It is for our clan usage only.  Space is limited, and outsiders will not appreciate the free space provided to them to post files. *

Once you have an ftp client installed.  We need to log in.  Below will be examples on doing this using ws_ftple program.

If you're not the only person using your computer, or if you're using a public computer, MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT HAVE "Save Pwd" CHECKED ON.

Now that we're logged in to the ftp site, create yourself a folder if you have not done so.  This is for your own files.

*NOTE* if you are uploading an avator, or signature, put all avators into "avators" folder, and signature into "signatures" folder.  They are already created.

Create the folder for yourself and name it after your clan alias!  You can omit the ~SiN~ as "~" are not permitted in ftp.

Below I will use "diablo" as an example.

Now you see a folder for "diablo" that I created.  Create one for yourself.

Double click on your folder, to go there, so you can start putting files there.

Now, if you're putting pictures, music, zip files, flash, you want to use "BINARY" transfer.  Here I am transferring only pictures.  So I highlight the files I want from the folder on my harddrive, and select "BINARY" then I click on the arrow transfer button:

Now we have the files we want transfered.

Now, if you uploaded pictures and you want to view them in the browser, open your browser, and point to: < http://members.sinnerz.org// >

Since the folder I want to see is "diablo" I will use, < http://members.sinnerz.org/diablo/ >

Now if I wanted to view the picture "wilder-av.jpg" I click on the link, and there I go.  If I wanted to share the link with someone I just cut and paste the URL, and provide them the URL.

Going a little further, if you like to post a image into a post...
